Healthy Sugars
Healthy sugars, are the buzz words in a relatively new community of the sciences called Glycobiology. Science is finally beginning to realize there are certain natural sugars having healing qualities. In their reports the diseases mentioned that may be helped by healthy sugars are cancer, heart disease, arthritis, sugar diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and the list goes on. There seems to be a lot of excitement in the research community over the results of their experiments. One sad fact, in reading over some of the material [I will leave links to some of it] the direction they are heading in, is not to produce the natural compounds [sugars] that bring about the healing, but to chemically reproduce them and manufacture drugs containing them. When drug company’s get involved the focus is not on how to cure the cause. The focus seems to be on how to handle the symptoms. There is another article about healthy sugars titled The Sweet Science of Glycobiology. It was published in the American Scientist volume 91. The writers here show the importance of natural sugars in the daily diet. On the last page of the article, once again you can see the slant toward the manufacture of drugs containing these healthy sugars. When the drug companies see a good thing they latch right on to it. They won’t do that unless they can see huge
dollar signs at the end of the tunnel.
Why wait for the drug companies to come out with their product which will probably have side effects. Anything chemically manufactured has side effects. The healthy sugars have been available for years in their natural form or in an extracted form you can use as a supplement on a daily basis.
There are eight essential sugars that your body needs on a regular basis. These sugars attach themselves to the cells in your body and keep them healthy. Take away Just one of those eight sugars and your immune system becomes unbalanced.
